Calm Saturday and I still don’t like ginger


This morning I went for a HIIT cardio session at the gym and it’s actually quite fun. I do a 20min one where you warm up for five minutes by walking. Then you sprint for 30s, walk for 1min and back to sprinting and so on for 20min. Gets you sweating and it’s a good 20min.

Getting back to good habits

I have totally been forgetting about one thing that used to be one of my best habits. Which is drinking apple cider vinegar 1-3 times every day before eating. It has a lot of good benefits and I actually think it tastes quite nice now, but I drink it mixed with water because it’s. It that good for your tummy to drink it on its own since it’s so sour. But today I started drinking it again after having a massive allergic reaction to something and also put it next to my bed so I will remember having it to every day. For best effect you’re apparently meant to have it 10-20min before eating so I usually have it before breakfast and dinner and if I remember to bring it to college also before lunch. 
Also such a coincidence that Holland and Barrett posted about the benefits of apple cider vinegar today on their Instagram page!

Snow day Nr 2


All classes cancelled today and tomorrow as well. Yaay snow days. It is quite horrible being outside though. It is both cold and the wind whips the snow straight in to your face. And there’s not really enough forces for ploughing away the snow so there is slush and snow everywhere. I do have to blame myself for not bringing winter shoes but I’ve never seen this much snow here and I didn’t think it was possible so I have just not been bothered bringing any real winter stuff.. not one of my smartest choices perhaps..

But it is still beautiful. When I walked up to the gym this morning the sun was actually shining for a bit so times that really well.

Walked up Calton Hill after the gym since all the shops were closed, and wanted to see Arthur’s Seat covered in snow. Very lovely but I could see the dark clouds creeping in and suddenly it was snowing a lot. And I fell trying to walk down the hill as well. So slippery everywhere!

Eventually I got bored. Even after preparing gluten-free bread for tomorrow morning AND making my healthy Chokladbollar. So decided to go back to the gym. Cause what else is there to do? 
Well I could actually write the essay that is due in two weeks but I’ve got all of tomorrow and all of this evening to write it so no stress...


So far ‘eh no’ is winning. Still went. Go me.
